PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detachable power plug and a method of manufacturing the same such that the plug can be assembled or machined easily. SOLUTION: For an improvement in the method of manufacture of the detachable power plug 100, molding coupled portions 131a and 132a are formed on upper and lower plug bodies 131, 132 for simplification of the assembly work, to begin with. A lower molding body 137 is rigidly coupled to the lower portion of the plug bodies 131 and 132 which are coupled together up and down. The contrivance of the lower molding body dispenses with mounting of a stopper and fastening of a bolt. Then, for simplification of the machining operation, clamping portions 133a replacing conventional weldingly secured terminals are mounted integral with the undersides of tension spring connector terminals 133 incorporated within the bodies. The clamping portions are set such that they are exposed on the lower outside of the upper and lower plug bodies. After the upper and lower plugs are combined together, a coil portion 121 of an electric wire 120 is inserted into the clamping portions and clampingly secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
