PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can be easily moved between beds and enables suction and deodorization of locally generated odor by simple operation. SOLUTION: The deodorizing apparatus includes: a movable body 10 of the deodorizing apparatus with a detachable deodorant cartridge inside; a first suction arm 11 whose one end is turnably supported on the upper surface of the body of the deodorizing apparatus 10 and which an air passage is formed inside; a second suction arm 12 whose air passage communicating with the air passage of the first suction arm 11 is formed inside and one end is connected via a turning articulation 17 to the end of the first suction arm 11, having a suction port on the end; and a suction fan provided in the body 10 of the deodorizing apparatus to suck odor from the suction port via the air passages in the first and second suction arms 11 and 12. The odor sent from the suction fan is passed through the deodorant in the cartridge to deodorize and exhausted outside the apparatus body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
