PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical for a rubber having excellent chemical dispersion property in the rubber, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The chemical for rubber includes≥80 mass% of a fine particle-like component having a melting point, a softening point or a dropping point higher than the highest temperature in kneading of a master batch or a rubber composition, a whole volume average particle diameter (mv) of 80μm or less and a volume particle diameter (mv) of 80μm or less. Further, the chemical for rubber can be manufactured by mixing a chemical solution for rubber in which the chemical for rubber is dissolved in a good solvent relative to the chemical for rubber with a poor solvent relative to the chemical for rubber.
