<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable power device coping with the failing of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: The power device includes: a plurality of motors 21a, 21b; a plurality of pumps 22a, 22b provided correspondingly to each of the plurality of motors 21a, 21b, and generating pressure by receiving the rotating power of the corresponding motors 21a, 21b; a plurality of piping passages 62a, 62b, 65a, 65b provided correspondingly to each of the plurality of pumps 22a, 22b; pipes 23 for communicating the plurality of piping passages 62a, 62b, 65a, 65b; and control valves 25a-25d provided to the pipes 23, and for controlling the communication of the plurality of piping passages 62a, 62b, 65a, 65b.
