PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overdischarge of a power supply battery of a home fire alarm and to suppress the power consumption. SOLUTION: The home fire alarm includes: a detection part 11 which detects a fire; an alarm output part 14 which issues an alarm sound; a control part 15 which controls the detection part 11 and the alarm output part 14; a power supply battery 16; a determination means 17 which determines whether or not the output of the power supply battery 16 decreases below a predetermined reference voltage; and an overdischarge prevention means 18 which electrically blocks the power supply battery 16 when detecting the output of the power supply battery 16 decreases below the predetermined reference voltage by the determination means 17.
