PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve element structure which can be easily used for a flushing valve in an existing toilet bowl flushing tank, can adjust an amount of water discharge, and facilitates the adjustment of the position of a float upon the adjustment of the amount of the water discharge. SOLUTION: The valve element structure includes a guide rod 8 joined to a flapper valve element 5 and the float 11 positioned in a vertically adjustable manner relative to the guide rod 8. A number of recessed grooves 8a are formed at the guide rod 8 in the longitudinal direction. A clip 8b is engaged with the recessed grooves 8a. The guide rod 8 and the float 11 are housed in a case 6. The guide rod 8 including the case 6 is joined to the flapper valve element 5 in a vertically swingable manner. Also there are provided: the valve element structure in which a hollow pipe 16 is suspended below a lifting and lowering valve element 14, and a guide bar 17 guided in the hollow pipe 16 so as to be liftable; and the valve element structure in which the case 6 is guided by a lifting and lowering guide 13 fitted to an overflow pipe 1.
