The method involves receiving an identification of software for a controller by an interface. Predetermined conditions of the controller are received by the interface, where the predetermined conditions exhibit internal error information of the controller. The predetermined conditions are compared against actual conditions of the controller, where the actual conditions exhibit stored error information of the controller. Two comparative results are provided based on comparison of the two conditions, and actualization of the controller is accomplished based on one of the comparative results. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a controller (2) a computer program product with program code, having a set of instructions for executing a method for actualizing a controller of a vehicle.
