PURPOSE: A system and a method for notifying a calling number text message notification message in a oversea roaming service are provided to notify home net telephone number of roaming subscriber to home net subscriber by a text message in advance, thereby preventing the call of a roaming subscriber from recognized as a spam. CONSTITUTION: A roaming SCP(Service Control Point)(115) receives intelligent network service request message form visit network MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(133) according to the call originating of a roaming subscriber. An intelligent network controller writes an originating number notification SMS(Short Message Service) message including a home network telephone number. A SMSC(Short Message Service Center)(330) receives the calling number notification text message of the intelligent controller. The SMSC transmits the calling number notification text message to a home net subscriber.
