<p>PURPOSE: A mobile terminal capable of nail touch input and a control method thereof are provided to use nail touch input which touches a display unit by a surface of a nail or the end of a nail, thereby controlling various operations. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(151) displays a character input window including touch keys. A memory(160) stores nail information corresponding to nail touch input by a finger. When a touch key is selected by the nail touch input, a control unit(180) inputs a character selected by nail information of the nail touch input among characters which can be inputted by the selected touch key. The control unit displays the selected character on one area of the display unit. The nail information is fingerprint information by a finger.</p> |
