POLYALKYLTHIOPHENE BLOCK COPOLYMER AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME BY RING OPENING METATHESIS POLYMERIZATION

PURPOSE: A polyalkylthiophene block copolymer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to apply a vinyl group to the end of a polyalkylthiophene polymer using a reaction with a Grignard reagent. CONSTITUTION: A polyalkylthiophene block copolymer contains a polymer marked with chemical formula 2, and a transition metal catalyst combined with the end of the polymer. A manufacturing method of the polyalkylthiophene block copolymer marked with chemical formula 1, comprises the followings steps: performing a ring-opening metathesis reaction after adding a norbornene based monomer to a polymer-catalyst complex; and removing the catalyst and finishing the reaction.
