<p>The present invention relates to a composite sheet for an LCD backlight unit, and more specifically to a composite sheet wherein a nonwoven fabric, a nonwoven fabric with a planarized surface or a laminated nonwoven fabric with transparent film, is used as a substrate to form a light diffusing layer on either the front or back surface of the diffusing sheet, thereby enabling high light-shielding effect and luminance compensation. Accordingly, at least one surface of the substrate of the composite sheet for an LCD backlight unit of the present invention comprises a prism layer, whereby said substrate is preferably laminated to the nonwoven fabric with at least one transparent film selected from polyethyleneterephthalate, polycarbonate, polypropylene, polyethersulfone or polyimide. Preferably, said substrate is formed by planerizing and coating at least one surface of said nonwoven fabric with one or a mixture of at least two types of resins selected from urethane, epoxy, polyester, polyamide types and acrylic types such as polymethylmethacrylate or methacrylic ester copolymer, and said prism layer is formed on the planarized and coated surface.</p> |
