<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack enhancing drainage properties. <P>SOLUTION: A unit cell 30 includes a water repellent plate 36 and a piece of wire 38 in an anode gas outlet 34. When many unit cells 30 are stacked, an anode gas outlet 34 forms a manifold in the depth direction, and the water repellent plate 36 is inserted into the manifold. The piece of wire 38 is fit to an individual unit cell 30. The water repellent plate 36 is a plate on which water repellent finishing is performed. The wire 38 has a hydrophilic surface.
