The core e.g. stator core (1) has two poles (3), and multiple sheets formed with equal size, where each pole includes a pole piece (5) that is formed from partial pole pieces of the single sheet, where the partial pole pieces are formed in convex and concave shape with different radius of curvature. The sheets are stacked and rotated against each other around an integral multiple of pole distance. The partial pole pieces have same width, so that the pole pieces altogether form a straight contour. The poles include pole bars (4) that are identical and formed as straight in an axial direction.
