<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for an online retailer to provide a website customized for a user. <P>SOLUTION: A website accelerator system includes a web asset migrator storing web assets in a data repository according to categories specified in a predetermined schema. The system also includes a web asset configurer matching rules stored in the data repository with attributes associated with an on line user. The rules each specify a condition and a web asset stored in the data repository to be provided to the online visitor when the condition is satisfied.
