PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester equipped with a rachis-branch-treating device for treating a second product or the like by communicating with the terminal end of a second product-returning conveyor, capable of improving the conveying efficiency by shortening the second product-returning conveyor as possible, and enabling a machine body to be compacted by effectively utilizing the inner and outer spaces of the whole machine body. SOLUTION: The combine harvester is equipped with a threshing part having a threshing cylinder, a selection part for selecting grains by swinging and/or air at the threshing part, a threshing cylinder at a dust-sending opening for retreating a threshed product by communicating with the dust-sending opening of the threshing part, a first-product grain-lifting conveyor communicating with a first product conveyor, the second product-returning conveyor communicating with a second product conveyor, and the rachis-branch-treating device for treating the second product or the like, communicating with the terminal end of the second product-returning conveyor. The rachis-branch-treating device is arranged at the rear side of the second product-returning conveyor formed into a backward tilted posture, and the treating shaft of the rachis-branch-treating device is formed into a vertical shaft.
