PURPOSE: Ultrasound system and method for aligning ultrasound images are provided to improve the convenience of a user by providing aligned three-dimensional images in a pre-set position regardless of the position change of an object. CONSTITUTION: A user instruction for selecting an interested object to a user inputting part(110). Information related to a reference position corresponding to a plurality of interested objects is stored in a storing part(120). An ultrasound-wave data acquiring part(130) acquires the ultrasound data of the object. A volume data forming part(140) forms volume data using the ultrasound data. A processor(150) forms a three-dimensional ultrasound image using the volume data. The processor extracts the reference position information from the storing part and aligns the three-dimensional ultrasound image.
