<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of data conversion by preventing erroneous conversion due to a lack of resources. <P>SOLUTION: Fig.(A) shows an example of failure in conversion of CAD data 100 of a notebook computer as a conversion object to mock-up data 110. Trying conversion from CAD data 100 to mock-up data 110 using existing data conversion tools is abnormally terminated halfway due to a lack of a memory. In an example, as shown in Fig.(B), CAD data 100 of the notebook computer is divided into CAD data groups 101 to 106 in a lower hierarchy, and than respective CAD data groups 101 to 106 are converted to mock-up data 11 to 116. In this example, data conversion is successful without failing due to a lack of memory. Finally, converted mock-up data groups 111 to 116 are combined to generate mock-up data 110 of the notebook computer 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
