PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing the space efficiency of a sound treatment chamber in which sound absorbing bodies are installed, and for reducing the installation cost. SOLUTION: The plurality of sound absorbing bodies 20 are installed on the entire inner wall surface of an anechoic chamber 10. A slit 30 with a predetermined width is formed between the adjacent sound absorbing bodies 20. Namely, the sound absorbing bodies 20 are disposed separately from each other. Therefore, the absorbing rate of the sound in a low frequency range near a cutoff frequency can be increased without increasing the thickness of the sound absorbing body 20 (length of a wedge). Consequently, the lowering of the space efficiency in the anechoic chamber 10 due to the improvement of the absorbing rate in the low frequency range can be avoided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
