PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display determining an unnecessary image based on preference of a user, and deleting or compressing the image, and an imaging device. SOLUTION: A memory 103 stores an image. A monitor part 106 displays a reproduced image. A browsing detection part 107 detects that a user holds a housing. A control device 108 selects an image based on a reproduction situation of the image when it is detected that the user holds the housing, and deletes or compresses the selected image.
