PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication terminal collectively performing connection setup in which a plurality of devices participate in a wireless network, and also to provide a connection setup method of a wireless network. SOLUTION: A trigger receiving unit 401 receives a predetermined trigger. A connection setup unit 403 receives a participation request to the wireless network from an external terminal that does not participate in a wireless network in which this wireless communication terminal has participated, using wireless communication. The connection setup unit 403 associates respective participation requests received from a plurality external terminals with one received trigger, and sequentially performs connection setup which makes each of the plurality of external terminals participate in the wireless network in response to each of the participation requests, in the order in which the participation requests are received.
