PURPOSE: A compound having an aromatic ring in carbazole, organic electric device and terminal are provided to use as a host material of phosphor dopant having various colors. CONSTITUTION: A compound having aromatic ring in carbazole is denoted by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, X is phenyl group, naphthyl group, biphenyl group or terphenyl group. An organic electric device has one or more organic layers having the compound of chemical formula 1. The organic electric is an organic electro luminescence device having a first electrode, one or more organic layer and second layer. The organic layer is hole injection layer, hole transport layer, light emitting layer or electron transport layer. A terminal comprises a display device having the organic electric device and a controller which drives the display device.
