摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise during combustion by reducing the open velocity of a needle and suppressing an increase of a fuel injection rate. SOLUTION: This fuel injection device 100 includes a common rail 14 accumulating high pressure fuel and a needle for opening and closing a valve, and includes a piezoelectric injector 18 injecting high pressure fuel supplied from the common rail 14 to the inside of a cylinder, a target rail pressure calculation means 20 calculating the target rail pressure of the common rail 14 based on an operation state, an actual rail pressure detection means 20 detecting the actual rail pressure of the common rail 14, and a needle control means 20 executing control for decelerating the valve open velocity of the needle when the actual rail pressure of the common rail 14 is higher than the target rail pressure. A fuel injection quantity is reduced during an ignition delay period by reducing the valve open velocity of the needle when the pressure of the common rail 14 is high.
