<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective information concerning a glaucomatous condition by unifying tomograms of the retina obtained from OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) and information of a visual function obtained from a campimeter. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image processor relates the result of campimetry to a fundus camera image (S420). The image processor registers a layer thickness distribution showing the thickness of a nerve fiber layer in the retinal layer of an eye to be examined from an OCT tomogram on the fundus camera image (S440). After that, the image processor presents information showing the glaucomatous condition of the eyes to be examined on the basis of the layer thickness distribution registered on the fundus camera image and the result of campimetry (S470). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
