PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam housing capable of securing the rigidity of a lash adjuster mounting part, and to provide an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: In the cam housing 1 in which lash adjuster mounting parts 5a, 5b are integrally formed or fixed by a mounting part, an injector mounting part 6 is formed along an outer wall on an intake side of the cam housing 1. Thus, the provision of an injector relief part 34 to the lash adjuster mounting part 5a is not needed as before, thus sufficiently securing the rigidity of the lash adjuster mounting part 5a.
