<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve position precision of a light emitting element, with respect to a light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device has a base 11, and a first conductor pattern 12-1 and a second conductor pattern 12-2 formed on the base 11. The first conductor pattern 12-1 extends in a first direction (x). The second conductor pattern 12-2 extends in a second direction (y) crossing the first direction (x). The light emitting device further has a light emitting element 13 made of a semiconductor material.
