PURPOSE: A graphic user interface and a display method for the same are provided to supply an optimized GUI(Graphic User Interface) by down-scaling the high definition image proper to the screen definition of a display device. CONSTITUTION: A memory(10) stores the font data corresponding to the maximum definition of a display device and a high definition image. A definition sensing unit(20) senses the screen definition of the connected display device, and a buff setting unit(30) sets up the size of a menu frame buffer for a menu in a system memory by corresponding to the screen definition. A loader(40) loads the font data and the high definition image to the system memory, and a scale unit(60) adjusts the size of the loaded font data and the high definition image according to the screen definition. |
