<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate seed and coat of a bean without leaking starch grains in a bean jam particle while remarkably reducing a consumption of water. <P>SOLUTION: The seed and coat separation method comprises a bean boiling step S1 to boil the beans used as a raw material, a syrup immersion step S2 to impregnate sugar to the beans boiled by the bean boiling step S1 to facilitate separation of the seed and the coat, and a separation step S3 to rub the boiled and syrupped bean against a mesh to separate the bean into the seed and the coat and pass the seed. The seed and the coat of the bean are easily separated by an increase of a liquid phase as a syrup by syrupping the bean and tightening of the seed by osmotic pressure of the syrup compared with the separation of the seed and the coat of simply boiled bean. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
