<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor constructed to solve the problem specific to a monogate rotor (single gate rotor) structure which uses a screw rotor and one gate rotor for compressing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The screw compressor includes a bearing housing 5 having a through-hole through which the screw shaft 9 of the screw rotor 4 is inserted, the through-hole consisting of a small-diameter through-hole into which a high pressure side bearing 2 on the discharge side of the screw rotor 4 is inserted, and a large-diameter through-hole which is formed on the screw rotor side of the small-diameter through-hole to store part of the screw rotor 4 so that the distance between the center axis and the inner peripheral face of the through-hole is longer on the other counter compression side than on the compression side where the compression chamber 11 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
