Disclosed is a resin roof panel fastening structure for fastening a sunshade housing and a resin roof panel. The sunshade housing has a fitting portion. The roof panel has a connecting portion. The fitting portion and the connecting portion are joined together by means of fastening members. The fastening members include a combination of a fastening bolt and a leaf spring inserted into an elongated hole. The fastening members allow the fitting portion and the connecting portion to move relative to each other lengthwise along the elongated hole. The fastening members also allow the fitting portion and the connecting portion to move relative to each other in the axial direction of the fastening bolt as a result of an elastic deformation of the leaf spring.
