<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the total volume of cores of a step-up inductor to be used for an onboard step-up converter. <P>SOLUTION: An onboard multi-phase converter, having a plurality of voltage step-up coils, includes: annular self-inductance cores which are provided corresponding to each voltage step-up coil and around which the corresponding voltage step-up coil is wound; and annular mutual inductance cores which are provided corresponding to each combination of selecting two voltage step-up coils from the plurality of voltage step-up coils, around which the paired two voltage step-up coils are wound, and which include each self-inductance core corresponding to the paired two voltage step-up coils.
