摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive method and a system for detecting a laser beam on a place of a positioning marker. SOLUTION: A mobile object installed so as to determine a position or a direction includes a laser source for outputting a laser beam, a polarization filter operable so as to receive reflection of the laser beam as input, and an imaging device operable so as to receive output from the polarization filter. The system for laser contrast enhancement includes a target positioned on a prescribed position, and a moving unit. The moving unit includes: a laser for outputting a beam; an imaging device operable so as to obtain an image; and a polarization filter operable so as to reduce intensity of an incidence image component not having a plane of polarization which is substantially parallel to a main plane for transmission of the polarization filter, which is the polarization filter arranged in front of the imaging device.
