<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric-wire protecting pipe for a base-isolation building having both flexibility and toughness, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The electric-wire protecting pipe for the base-isolation building includes: a plurality of cylindrical first members coating an electric wire for base-isolation building extended in the first direction; and a plurality of cylindrical second members coating the electric wire for base-isolation building. The first members and the second members are arranged alternately in the first direction. A plurality of projections in shapes bulged along the first direction are formed at both ends in each of the plurality of first members. A plurality of recesses corresponding in shape to the plurality of projections are formed at both ends in each of the plurality of second members. The projections and the recesses are fitted mutually so that they can be mutually supported so that the first members and the second members are not separated from each other.
