PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal drive circuit that suppresses the occurrence of ringing, and to provide a liquid crystal display, and a method for manufacturing the device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal drive circuit 3 is provided with a voltage-value difference detecting circuit 36, and a driving capability changing circuit 37. The voltage-value difference detecting circuit 36 detects the difference between the output voltage value of a display video signal V<SB>sig</SB>and a target voltage value. If the difference is greater than a permissible value V<SB>d</SB>for the difference, which is stored in the voltage-value difference detecting circuit 36, the driving capability changing circuit 37 adjusts the driving capability of the liquid crystal drive circuit 3.
