PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience in image processing that performs an image search. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a condition designation window display unit that displays a condition designation window which includes condition designation regions by stages for designating search conditions for features of image contents in a plurality of search stages in series relations with one another, and a plurality of tags that designate display states of the condition designation regions by stages as tags corresponding to the plurality of search stages; a search condition setting unit that sets the search conditions in the plurality of search stages in accordance with the designations through the condition designation window; and an image search unit that sequentially performs image searches for the plurality of search stages by using the set search conditions.
