<p>The heat pipe panel (2) has a series of upwards extending tubes (4), which are hydro-formed inflations of the two metal skins that the panel is made of. Substantially sine wave undulations U are formed in the panel with the direction of the wave extending along the tubes, each tube having the same undulation. The undulations give the panel stiffness against curvature in the other direction, which is the curvature that the panel tends to experience.</p> |
