PURPOSE: An apparatus for cutting materials is provided to easily open and close a cover for an opening of a housing using a hydraulic cylinder. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cutting materials comprises a cover assembly, a rotor(5), blade units(7a,7b), a storing chamber(10), a sweeper(11), and a supporting unit. The cover assembly opens and closes an opening of a housing to put in a material. The rotor is rotated inside the housing. The blade units include blades which are rotated along with the rotor to cut the material. The material passing through the blade units is dropped into the storage chamber. The sweeper pushes out the material as a plurality of rotating plates(42) of the rotor rotate. When the rotating plates push out the material, the supporting unit keeps the rotating plates from bending. |
