PURPOSE: A novel bacteriophage with apoptotic ability to pathogenic enteric bacteria is provided to effectively induce apoptosis and reduce pathogenic enteric bacteria. CONSTITUTION: A Siphoviridae bacteriophage SS3e has apoptotic ability to pathogenic enteric bacteria and comprises a putative helicase gene sequence encoding an amino acid of sequence number 1. The putative helicase gene has a nucleotide sequence of sequence number 2. The bacteriophage is deposited by number KCTC 11492BP. The pathogenic enteric bacteria is salmonella, pathogenic E.coli, or enterobacter.
