ANTI-MYOSTATIN MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF

Variants of anti-myostatin monoclonal antibodies (GDF-8) are disclosed that specifically bind or identify amino acid of the mature form of human myostatin. The antibodies may be chimeric or humanized or fragments thereof. There also proposed a pharmaceutical composition based on said antibodies. The antibodies of the invention are useful for increasing muscle mass, increasing bone density, or for the treatment of various disorders in mammals.
