<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of managing TV program information and a remote controller. <P>SOLUTION: A method of managing TV program information includes; a step of preparing a channel information table, a step of receiving and updating channel program information, a step of generating organized channel information, and a step of receiving download requests. A management platform generates organized channel information according to the channel information table and updated channel program information. The organized channel information is layered information related to a cable provider, a channel grouped by similarities provided by the cable provider, a channel program, and the evaluation of the program.
