PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a channel list in which information related to a physical channel suitable for reception is registered.

SOLUTION: A channel list preparing portion 182 scans all physical channels, specifies physical channels whose reception qualities are equal to more than a predetermined value, and extracts identification information including a broadcasting company identification and an area identification corresponding to the specified physical channels. The channel list preparing portion 182 selects a physical channel whose reception quality is best per type of identification information, and associates a frequency of the selected physical channel with the broadcasting company identification and the area identification corresponding to the physical channel to be added to the channel list. Also, when physical channel information related to identification information identical to that of the added physical channel has already been registered, the channel list-preparing portion 182 deletes the registered information from the channel list.
