<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive recorder capable of spreading a drive recorder useful, when there is an accident. <P>SOLUTION: The drive recorder includes a cylindrical body 10, including a function of the drive recorder; a ring part 31, which is to be rotatably fitted to the outer peripheral surface of one end portion of the body in the axial direction of the body; a fixing bracket 30, provided with a fitting plate 33 to be connected to the outside of the ring part: and a nut member 40 to be fixed to one end part of the body to fix the ring part, by holding the ring part between the body and the nut member. An object detecting unit 50 is stored in the nut member.
