PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect one weighing scale to another one having the same function as the self and allow the weight data of each weighing scale to be collected to at least any weighing scale out of the plurality of connected weighing scales. SOLUTION: The weighing scale includes: a weight measurement unit 30 for measuring the weight data of an object to be weighed on a weighing stage 12; a display unit 14 for displaying the results of the weight data measured by the weight measurement unit 30; a communications unit 40 for performing communications of weight data with other weighing scales; a decision unit 71 for determining whether communications are available with other weighing scales through the communications unit 40; and a control unit 72 which performs a control to display the weight data measured by the weight measurement unit 30 on the display unit 14 when the decision results of the decision unit 71 is that communications are not available with other weighing scales and performs a control to perform the communications of the weight data with other weighing scales when the decision results of the decision unit 71 is that communications are available with other weighing scales.
