PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with a different case of a rotation angle of a lever side outer ring required in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction, when rotating the lever side outer ring by lever operation. SOLUTION: This clutch unit is composed of a lever side clutch part on the input side for controlling the transmission or cutoff of rotational torque to the output side by the lever operation, and a brake side clutch part on the output side for transmitting input torque from the lever side clutch part to the output side and cutting off inverse input torque from the output side. The lever side clutch part includes a claw part 14g extending in the axial direction on the outer periphery of the lever side outer ring 14 rotating by the lever operation. The claw part 14g of the lever side outer ring 14 is arranged between a pair of locking parts arranged in two places of the outer periphery of a cover, and abuts on one of the locking parts by rotation in the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction of the lever side outer ring 14, and a projection part 14g<SB>1</SB>is arranged in the claw part 14g of the lever side outer ring 14 as a means for making the rotation angle of the lever side outer ring 14 different between the clockwise direction and the counterclockwise direction.
