PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for a shock-absorber mounting part that reduces stress concentration near the fastening part of a shock-absorber bracket so as to reduce loads on a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A reinforcement 4 joined to the wheel side of the upper part of a rear-wheel house 7 is fastened with a bracket 3 mounted at the upper end of a shock absorber 2. The reinforcement includes each bracket mounting seat surface, bulging to the wheel side, on each side of the front and rear of its middle part. A vertically-extending concave face 44 is demarcated between the bracket mounting seat surfaces. Two upper and lower fastening parts are arranged at least on either one of the bracket mounting seat surfaces. A concave bead 45 is formed so as to cross between the two fastening parts. The concave bead demarcates the two upper and lower mounting seat surfaces. A common reinforcing patch 5 is joined to the rear-face side of the two upper and lower mounting seat surfaces.
