<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball-point pen tip having very high resistance to abrasion and capable of maintaining a good writing feeling over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The ball-point pen tip is provided with a chip body and a valve mechanism. The tip body includes an ink circulation hole formed in the center of the bottom wall of a ball holding room and an ink circulation hole radially extended from the ink circulation hole. The valve mechanism protrudes a part of a ball from a tip end to rotatably hold it by inserting the ball into the bottom wall and caulking a tip leading edge inside, and presses the ball to the tip leading edge by a coil spring to bond the ball to the inner wall of the tip leading edge. A lubricant covered layer is formed on the surface of the ball, and a transferred lubricant layer is provided between the ball and the coil spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
