PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the blocking of players from seeing a game performance defective due to the malfunction of drums as intact or other objectives by at least shielding malfunction in drum actions of a rotary drum utilizing an image display device when the malfunction in drum actions of the rotary drum is detected in a performance display device of a game machine which has a permeating type display unit of the image display device arrayed in front of a plurality of rotary drums. SOLUTION: The image display device 18 is capable of alternatively switching the whole or any part of a display unit 60 to the drum display state of making a rotary drum 40 see through or to the shielded drum state of making it non-see through. When the malfunction of a drum is detected, at least a part positioned just on the front of the rotary drum 40 malfunction is switched to the shielded drum state out of the display unit 60 of the image display device 18.
