PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which achieves shortening of warm-up time and power saving by efficiently collecting radiant heat from a heating element to an aimed position. SOLUTION: In the fixing device 9 which heats and presses a toner image to fix it on paper by making a pressure roller (pressure member) 24 press-contact with a hollow heating roller (heating member) 23 inside which a halogen lamp (heating element) 30 is housed and making the paper on which the toner image is carried pass through a fixing nip N, a reflector 31 having a plurality of reflection surfaces 31A to 31C is disposed to surround the halogen lamp 30 inside the heating roller 23, and two reflection surfaces 31A and 31C of the reflector 31 are opposed to each other across the halogen lamp 30, so as to reflect the radiant heat radiated from the halogen lamp 30 to all the directions by the reflection surfaces 31A to 31C of the reflector 31, and concentrate it toward an entrance P of a fixing nip area on an inner peripheral surface of the heating roller 23 from an aperture 31a of the reflector 31.
