<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna having a longer maximum communication distance and having a position of the maximum communication distance at substantially the center of a casing. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna coil 21 comprises a magnetic-material core 1 and a coil conductor CW. The antenna coil 21 is arranged close to a predetermined side S of a planar conductor 2. In the coil conductor CW, a first conductor part 11 close to a first main face MS1 of the magnetic core 1 and a second conductor part 12 close to a second main face MS2 of the magnetic core 1 are arranged such that they do not overlap when viewed from a normal direction of the first main face MS1 or the second main face MS2 of the magnetic core 1. The second conductor part 12 is arranged further from the center of the planar conductor 2 than the first conductor part 11.
