PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose table for use in exhibiting and displaying an optional article. SOLUTION: A top plate includes: a base member 1 formed like a gentle curve as a whole in the longitudinal direction, both right and left ends 2, 2 of which are formed like a circular arc; and a connecting member 3 formed like a gentle curve as a whole in the longitudinal direction, one end 4 of which is formed like a circular arc, the other end 5 thereof being formed like a recessed circular arc. The arcuate part of one member is joined to the recessed arcuate part of the other member to continuously form a top plate part in an optional direction. Further, lateral rods 9, 9, 9, 9 opened both right and left at both the upper and lower ends of a central post 8 are respectively connected to each other, and side posts 10, 10 are respectively connected to the outer end of each lateral rod to form leg bodies 7, and each top plate including the thus formed base member and connecting members is placed on the leg bodies 7.
