PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which can easily take communication between a leader and leaded persons. SOLUTION: The communication system 1 supports communication between the leader and many leaded persons in a group with a common object. The communication system comprises: a plurality of slave units CX which are carried by the many leaded persons and simultaneously transmit a short signal So1 or a long signal So2 containing identification information peculiar to a self unit when an operation switch 13 prepared in the self-unit is operated; and a first master unit P1 which is carried by the leader, simultaneously specifies the slave unit CX which is a transmission source of the short signal So1 or the long signal So2 based on the identification information included in the signal concerned when the short signal So1 or the long signal So2 transmitted from the slave unit CX is received, reads out the individual information corresponding to the specified slave unit CX from a memory 21a prepared in a self-unit, and displays it in a display and input unit 23 prepared in the self-unit.
